You’re Stressed A tension headache is caused by physical or emotional stress. Some common causes of physical stress are prolonged manual labor or being on your computer for too long. Tension headaches happen when the muscles around your skull contract.

You’re Pregnant – The rise and fall in hormone levels during pregnancy can cause frequent and intense headaches. They’re another kind of tension headache. They may be sparked by lack of sleep and increased stress.

You Partied too Much – Alcohol is a common cause of headaches. Many people get a red wine headache. The best thing you can do is to limit alcohol consumption in your Indianapolis apartment.
